India’s Golden Triangle is one of the world’s most visited tourist itinerary. It is basically the route which connects the national capital Delhi to Agra and Jaipur. Its name originates from the fact that the locations form a triangle on a map. Add Udaipur to the triangle and make it a truly unforgettable journey across India. This itinerary will include sights around Delhi, Taj Mahal, City Palace, Amber Fort, Lake Palace etc. making it an adventure filled 6 days in North-Western India.

Day 1

Arrival & Kingdom of Dreams

Arrival in Gurgaon and check in to hotel. In the evening head to Kingdom of Dreams which is India’s first live entertainment, theatre and leisure destination. Here there will be a live Bollywood style show, various stalls exhibiting arts and crafts from around the country and a food boulevard with theme restaurants and live kitchens from 14 states of India!

Day 2

Agra – Home of the Taj Mahal

Day starts with a bus journey to Agra. Upon arrival participate in a guided tour of the Taj Mahal (a UNESCO world heritage site). Post lunch visit Buland Darwaza or “Gate of Magnificence” at Fatehpur Sikhri. Proceed to Bharatpur where the day ends with dinner and a Cultural Evening showcasing Rajasthani traditional performances.

Day 3

Jaipur – The Pink City

The Jaipur itinerary begins with a visit to Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Palace showcasing a fine collection of textiles, costumes and armour belonging to the royal family. Next visit Jantar Mantar which is a collection of 19 architectural astronomical instruments and Hawa Mahal or the “Palace of the Winds”. After lunch enjoy a ride to Amber fort on an elephant, and participate in a guided exploration of  the fort. Conclude this eventful day watching the sunset from the Sun Temple followed by dinner in the city. The night is spent on the overnight train to Udaipur.

Day 4

Udaipur – City of Palaces I

The day commences with a visit to Lake Palace, Jag Mandir and City Palace. Enjoy a visit to the Bagore Ki Haveli museum set on the water’s edge at Lake Pichola. The day ends with a special cultural presentation consisting of a variety of traditional performances followed by dinner.

Day 5

Udaipur – City of Palaces II

Start the day with a visit to Monsoon Palace formally known as the Sajjan Garh Palace, a fairy tale palatial residence located on a scenic hilltop. Post lunch there is free time to do shop in local markets. The night is spent on the overnight train to New Delhi.

Day 6

New Delhi – The National Capital

Spend the day in Delhi visiting popular tourist attractions like India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and many others. Enjoy a local city tour and visit local shopping markets for any last minute souvenir shopping.
